Passenger seat viewed from outside
1 – Sun Visor and Lock Clip.
Note: The Visor Lock Clip can be removed to permit the visor to rotate to the side window.
2 – Seat Arm Rest. The arm rest angle can be adjusted or folded to a vertical position.
3 – Seat Leg Support. A locking handle allows the seat front to extend for additional leg support.
4 – Floor Mat. Under the floor mat is a cover that can be removed to expose an extremely basic tool kit. Under the tool kit is a power block with additional relays and fuses.
5 – Seat Swivel Lever.
TIP#079: Program the seat memory button to the position for easy rotation.
6 – Vehicle Jack storage compartment
7 – Secure Lock Box – Key shown
8 – Seatback lower Lumbar Control
9 – Door Latch Loop
10 – Seatbelt.
TIP#007: The upper height of the seatbelt can be adjusted on the B-Pillar.
NOTE: There is a side air-bag located in the edge of the seat and another one in the dash.

TIP#165: The headrest can also be removed using this button. In an emergency, the headrest can be removed and used to smash the windows.
(4) Floormat removed to show cover on tool kit. Turn the two screws quarter turn and remove the cover.
(4) Very basic tool kit: Tow Loop (screws into front bumper), screwdriver handle, screwdriver insert. Lug nut socket for steel wheel size lug nuts. (No open-end wrench and Mercedes dealer wasn’t sure what it would have been for).
Under the Tool Tray is a power block with relays and more fuses.
