The Firefly System is an electronic monitoring system that uses touch panel displays for controlling RV lights, heating and cooling as well as monitoring tank levels and battery status. The use of a multiplex wiring system simplifies the installation and minimizes the amount of wire required in the RV by allowing numerous electronic messages to exchange directions over the same datalink connection. The system in our Galleria consists of five screens.

Resetting the G12 Controller
One approach to resetting the controller is to disconnect shore power, set the USE/STORE switch to STORE and turn off the solar panels. Wait 15 minutes and turn things back on and see if that has resolved the issues.
If powering down hasn’t helped, next option is a Hard-Reset. You will need to access the Firefly G12 control module. Ours is located behind the upper cabinet control panel. (Not an easy access).
Once again power everything off.
When you have access to the G12 module, you will need to locate the single wire spade connector attached to the J17 terminal.
Remove the wire and re-connect after 15 seconds.
Power everything back up and cross your flingers.
NOTE: While you are in there, shoot pictures of the rats-nest and double check that nuts on the power terminal studs are tight.
